Default Should he rehearse his interview a bit?

My cousin is painfully shy and may not "shine" as he should during his interview. Would it help to have him rehearse the interview with other people?

Default Rehearsing for interviews

Yes, it definitely helps to rehearse before doing college interviews (or any interviews for that matter). You should practice with someone who knows you well so that they can tell when you're being genuine and sincere in your answers.

Hope that helps...

Rehearsing an interview can do wonders for reducing stress and tension. However, it is also best not to go into an interview too scripted.

Well, I think we will do a couple of practice runs, but in reality he will still have to learn to control his nerves.

He is looking at some breathing exercises and visualizations to help him get through the process!

For people who are shy and nervous while having an interview must go through a thorough rehearsal before appearing before the interview.

I guess it is necessary for making a good impression and also avoiding embarrassment.

Don't forget to use a mirror, preferably full length, while practicing.

Being nervous can show up in nervous tics and habits that might be harmless under other conditions, but work against you in an interview!

A college interview is like a job interview. I get very nervous myself, so I know. The more you play interview, the easier it gets.
