Default Which is the better choice?

I think it better to get an undergraduate degree, then go to medical school, but many premed programs actually save time and money by requiring only 6 years of classroom time.

Which is better choice?

Default college before medical school

It's probably a good idea to get a full undergraduate degree from an Accredited College before pursuing medical school. Medical school admissions offices look favorably upon those students having completed a full 4 year program. You can major in pretty much anything these days and go to Medical School assuming you take many core courses, i.e. Physics, Orgo, and Calculus. In addition, try to take the MCAT during your Junior Year of college.

Check with the individual medical school admissions office, and they should be able to answer your question further.

Hope that helps.

What about going to medical schools outside of the country? Do they favor the post grad student or are they more lenient?
